I've noticed a lot of references on blogs and Facebook about Palin being a "hottie", a "MILF" (mother i'd like to f**k) and VPILF.
Do you think men will vote for her because she's attractive? Do you think this was factored into the thinking when she was chosen?

Even though I can't stand Sarah Palin and everything she politically stands for, it still irks me to see this woman of (albeit meagre) political stature diminished and trivialized by being labeled a "hottie" or "MILF." Suddenly, that's all she's good for--what she can sexually do for men.
As to men voting for her because of her looks, yeah, I think that's a given for some men, not all. Just like there are jerks in the work world, these jerks will vote with their pants.
There will be some that will vote for Palin just because she is attractive. And there will be some that vote for Obama just because he is black.
The rest of us will vote for a candidate because we like most of what they stand for.
I am usually all for saying that men are pigs, think with their pants, etc.
However, I would like to point out that men are not the only ones who are blind-sided by Palin's looks. There is a 2-month wait for Palin's ugly glasses that women are flocking to stores to get so they too can be attractive (or so they think).
There are women in this society that will be just as guilty of voting for her because she's pretty just as there will be men who vote for her just because she is pretty.
Let's be fair...
